PROFILE
Dan Weston is a Toronto, Canada–based mastering and mixing engineer with decades of experience working across major-label and independent releases.
His credits include mixing, mastering, and engineering on records that have collectively surpassed 4 billion streams, earned over 30 gold and platinum certifications, and received multiple JUNO Awards.
Dan’s work is guided by experience, taste, and a long-standing obsession with sound. Sometimes that means doing the heavy lifting; other times it means knowing when to step out of the way and let a record speak for itself. His focus is on emotional impact — helping songs feel alive, effortless, and intentional as they come out of the speakers.
Having worked in every role along the recording and production chain, Dan approaches each project with deep respect for the music, the process, and the people behind it. Artists, engineers, and labels trust him to support the mix and bring projects across the finish line with care and perspective. His goal is simple: to be the final set of ears you can trust, delivering a master that everyone involved can stand behind.
Dan is currently focused on mastering, while continuing to take on select mixing projects.
